Big News! Christian Louboutin is coming to Bahrain

Fashionistas rejoice! This is one amazing news. One of the world’s leading fashion designers, Christian Louboutin, will be visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain next month. Bernard Regnauld-Fabre, the French Ambassador to Bahrain, announced the news of the designer’s visit as part of So French Week. Commenting on the announcement, Bernard Regnauld-Fabre, stated “We are looking forward to welcoming MrLouboutin for the fourth edition of French Week, which will take place in January 2017. ChristianLouboutin is a celebrated designer, not only in Bahrain, but worldwide. His visit will include a gala dinner in his honour, taking place at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on the 20th January. He will also be making a special appearance at Saks Fifth Avenue on the 21st January. A limited number of tickets will go on sale for the gala dinner as of next week”.
Further commenting on the designer’s visit, Bernard Regnauld-Fabre stated,”The aim of So French Week is to embrace the many aspects of French culture and thefashion industryfalls firmly into this. French fashion, craftsmanship and design areworld-renowned. The fashion industry in France is worth 34 billion Eurosand there are dozens of French fashion brands in Bahrain alone”.
Mr Louboutin launched his eponymous brand in 1992, opening his first boutique in Paris that year. An artist and a craftsman with a passion for shoes, his designs are unique and instantly recognisable due to their signature red lacquered soles. Since the brand’s launch nearly 25 years ago, Louboutin’s collection now includes women and men’s shoes, handbags, small leather goods, perfume and more recently beauty products.  With more than 100 boutiquesglobally, the French designer is acclaimed worldwide.
The dates for So French week have been set for the 18th to 23rd January 2017, under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa.  During the week a range of events and activities will take place in Bahrain, with four main areas highlighted; technology, lifestyle, tourism and infrastructure.
