The renowned premier Saudi fitness apparel brand TIMA unveiled its latest Yin and Yang collection at Milk Concept Store in Bahrain on Saturday 4th March with a delightful Yoga and brunch. The brand spearheads woman empowerment in the field of sports across the Arab region especially in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its mission is to spread a healthy and positive lifestyle and shift people to a state of “self love” through its values of being committed and dedicated.
The launch event was done in association with the Building Bridges Film Fest wherein 10% of all proceeds from the TIMA sales were donated to raise funds for refugees displaced globally. It all tied in with the feel-good spirt of the event as strong spirited women from across the country came together to find balance through a free yoga session followed by a healthy brunch.
When asked “why Yin and Yang?”, their response was: “Everything contains Yin and Yang. They are two opposite yet complementary energies. Although they are totally different in their individual qualities and nature, they are interdependent. Yin and Yang cannot exist without the other; they are never separate. For example, night and day form a Yin-Yang pair. Both create a totality, a complete whole. This collection is representing the complete opposite ends of the scale yet balanced when they meet each other. So there is balance, but the relationship goes beyond balance to one of harmony. When two things are balanced, they are equal but still separate. In a relationship of harmony, the two energies blend into one seamless whole, as perfectly embodied by the swirling Yin-Yang symbol.”
